I'm kind of a book addict. I love reading and can spend days reading and skip meals and sleep. Once in awhile try to cut down on my reading. Like when I'm really busy but despite that there are two new ventures I seem to have stumbled upon. The first is an app called Okadabooks. This app focuses on providing books and authors of interest to African. The goal is to make reading books possible on any cell phone.
Another is a project to republish 500 old Christian books. This project also plans to make the books accessible for free to anyone who can browse the web, on phone or computer. (Deeprootslibrary.com)
Pretty exciting times. I'm really encouraged by okadobooks because a technology that everyone has to provide access to books.
