Meet the Browns

I liked "Meet the Browns" for the most part. The reason I went to see it is because I have alot of respect for Angela Bassett. I like the fact that she is very choosy about the roles she accepts. She was a pretty convincing mom in the movie so I wasn't disappointed. The thing that tends to annoy me about Tyler Perry movies is the portrayal of men. They always seem weak and effeminate. I know there are many dads out there who act just like Michael's dead beat dad. But even the guys who are supposed to be the good guys, and the heroes still seem like weak guys. Good looking, but weak characters.
