I have a lot of respect for the work that the International Justice Mission is doing around the world. The work is something that we as Christians have to be involved in. We should not be silent and passive as long as childhood slavery, and sexual trafficking exist.
So tonight I am going to a benefit dinner. I hope that this will jump start my active involvment in fighting against some of the injustices in this world. Since I don't like spending more than $5 a meal, it must really be a worthy cause. It will be the most expensive dinner I have ever been to, but it will totally be worth it.
